Privacy Manifesto

TL;DR: We do not sell your data. We do not store your raw audio recordings permanently. You own your transcripts.

1. Data Collection & Usage

When you use Vocalis, we process audio data to transcribe and generate responses. This processing happens on secure, encrypted processing nodes.

  • Audio Data: Processed in real-time and deleted from ephemeral memory once the session context is updated.
  • Transcripts: Stored in our encrypted database to provide you with "Chat History". You can delete these at any time.
  • Account Info: We use clerk for secure authentication. We never see your password.

2. The "Shark" Protocol

Our specialized personas (like The Shark) analyze sentiment and tone. This metadata (e.g., "User sounded nervous") is stored with the transcript to help provide performance analytics over time. It is not shared with third parties.

3. Your Rights

You have the absolute right to:

  • Export all your conversation history.
  • Permanently delete your account and all associated data.
  • Opt-out of any anonymized analytics.
